Religions true purpose is often forgotten in the material world through people’s lack of devotion to truth, where people will begin to attach and cleave themselves for dear life to religious cultural trappings, making it their identity. Our true identity as souls that migrate from lifetime to lifetime is not anything we are in the material but in fact we are a piece of God. The body is just a shell concealing Brigantios.
In other religious settings people will say that Christ lives within all of us, or that Krishna is in all things. One may see Shiva in all things, for us this can be the Dia Lugh or the Dagda, the All Father in all things. Which ever Deity you choose to devote yourself to find oneness, choose love in that path. Love makes clear all things, and clarifies the duty of man like process of clarifying butter. It is the true essence of the spirit of manus. Peace, and tranquility of mind can only true be experienced when the soul acknowledges its true essence; forgiveness, compassion, kindness.
In the world in which we live it can be quite difficult at times to maintain a state of loving-kindness with family and strangers alike taunting, testing with wicked provocations. These things can cause us to hold deep resentment and close our souls off from the eternal truth of God’s unending stream love. Dagda’s cauldron that satiates the soul and not a soul leaves hungry, and the cauldron never runs out. It is a great thing to be immersed in this infinite love and hold strong to our commitment to cleave not to the material world, but to cleave to God in loving devotion.
Our inward surrender and realizing of the traits that hold us back from spiritual freedom are essential to our progress. Sometimes we can be so bogged down with depressing situations and circumstances, but this is where the power of the Gods comes in to play. When we approach our Deities with the right attitude in alignment with sound teaching, our offerings of praise and requests can be answered. If we come with a incorrect heart asking for a long list of wants and desires, but the heart is missing fundamental issues, the Gods simply cannot bestow these blessings without your surrender.
It starts by realizing our need for the grace of the Dagda, the grace of the Morrigan. It starts by realizing in our meditations, the ugly energies and emotional baggages we have carried. When we begin to really reflect and ask for guidance, we may be shown that our hearts despite all our running around and religious words may still carry hatred, unforgiveness, and mercilessness. We could be walking around as punishers of mankind instead of healers. The Gods are never blind to the heart of an individual. They can see someone who is dishonest in their words or not, they can see where the soul is sick. And all the universe wants to do is give you the blessings you were already born with that many refuse through holding on to hatred!
That is the message of today is to stop resisting the universal truths that are vital to human life and are the ingredients in the soup of the Cauldron of the Dagda, our Good God. Then all fighting, and strife, and petty issues will come to an end! Live a life free of the suffering by jumping in the river of the cosmos, the deep stream of the Mother’s love.
